The INTERACT-Africa project team is thrilled to celebrate a major academic milestone as scholar Dieumerci Londjiringa Dramani officially graduated with a Master of Science in Crop Protection from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Tanzania on 8th October 2026.
Fostering Intra-Africa Academic Mobility
Dieumerci, a Congolese scholar, was admitted to SUA in October 2024 through the Mobility in Innovative Green Technologies for Climate Change Mitigation and Sustainable Bioeconomy (INTERACT-Africa) project.
As an Intra-Africa Academic Mobility initiative co-funded by the European Union (EU) and supported by the African Union, the INTERACT-Africa project provides high-impact educational opportunities for talented African scholars. The initiative aims to build regional capacity in climate change mitigation, sustainable agriculture, and bioeconomy innovations across African higher education institutions.
Driving Sustainable Bioeconomy & Food Security
Completing his postgraduate studies in Crop Protection equips Dramani with critical expertise to address agricultural challenges, crop yield protection, and sustainable farming practices—key pillars in building climate-resilient food systems across Africa.
“The INTERACT-Africa consortium, partner universities, and management team extend our warmest congratulations to Dramani on this well-deserved accomplishment. We wish him every success as he steps into his professional journey to make lasting contributions to Africa’s green transition and agricultural sustainability!”
